Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector with LCD Display
Please note: this device detects carbon monoxide (CO), not carbon dioxide (CO₂). These are two different gases. Carbon monoxide is the odourless, invisible gas produced by boilers, stoves, fireplaces and combustion engines, and it is the one that is dangerous to life. Carbon dioxide is the gas measured by air-quality sensors: this device does not measure it.
Electrochemical sensor, digital LCD display with a reading in ppm, 85 dB audible alarm and a visual indicator. It runs on batteries, so it stays active during a power cut. Wall or ceiling mounting with the screw kit included, no wiring needed.

Important warnings
A carbon monoxide detector is an alarm device. It does not replace regular maintenance of boilers, stoves and flues, nor an inspection by a qualified technician. Check that it works using the test button at least once a month, and replace the batteries as soon as the low-battery indicator appears.
If the alarm sounds: open doors and windows immediately, switch off any combustion appliances, go outside and call the emergency services. Do not go back inside until a technician has checked the installation.
